The Windmill Boy’ is a fantasy adventure, which tells the tale of a boy kept prisoner in a windmill by an evil horde, until one day a storm gives him the inspiration for escape. The story has been influenced by the style and themes of productions like Jim Henson’s ‘The Storyteller’ and ‘The Dark Crystal’ and animations like ‘Trapdoor’. (synopsis from stopmotionpro.com)
The film took 18 months to produce and was made on a very small budget. The film has been made as a piolt for a 28 minute special, which is currently being written.
I loved stuff like The Storyteller, The dark Crystal and really loved Trapdoor back in the day, so this really appeals to me.
