MixUp Digital Audio Mixer

MixUp is a PC based 4 track audio mixer which lets you mix together wave files (wav and mp3) and cd audio tracks in realtime.

Separate monitor and output levels included with the free version make the software ideally suited for live use.

VST plugin effects can be applied to individual tracks or the combined output.

Save your mix to file at any time with a single mouse click.

Audio CD support lets you grab sample loops directly from audio cds which can then be used in your mix.

Simply tap in the tempo as you're listening to a cd track to create perfectly timed loops

... I've been playing with this for a while now and I get emailed the latest versions, because I bought a virtual studio called Making Waves (Studio Version) a couple of years back. MixUp is from the team that made that software, which is a Quirky but pretty good. As I don't use software to perform live anywhere this is just something I am playing with for fun and I am not sure anything can compete with Live from ableton, for live software performance, though this software is diffrent and still only beta so who knows the future. I have to admit though because I just mix audio for fun and "Mix CD" use I tend to use a sequencer (Like Acid) and audio editor (like soundforge) to do it and just use my Vinyl decks to create the odd vinyl effect.

Anyway if you like to DJ with software or mix audio loops it might be worth downloading this and having ago
